Race
While some of the top cycling pros in the country will be featured in the final stage 5 of the Tour of Utah, regional and local amateurs of all categories will be able to warm-up the course and the crowds on the Tour of Utah Downtown Amateur Criterium. This non-UCA event will be a great atmosphere for the whole family with large crowds, a fast closed course, Shimano Kid’s Race and cash primes for each race that will surely keep everyone motivated.
Course
Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake, the course will be a fast and flat 4-corner race that will go around the Salt Lake City/County Building and the Salt Lake Library Square. This 1 mile loop will have excellent viewing areas and all spectators in the writing essays and buying some halloween contact lenses expo area of the Tour of Utah that will include sponsor booth,foods and vending machine. The Start/Finish area will be located on 500 South and 200 East.

Registration
Online registration will be available at New.Sportsbaseonline.com. and will close on Friday, August 21. Day of registration will be available up until 30 minutes before each race. A $5 day of registration fee will be added. However, we encourage you to not wait as we will be combining fields and there may be possibility of filling the rider maximum for each race. All racers must have a current USA cycling license to participate. One Day Licenses will be available for purchase for $10.
The Shimano Kid’s race registration will be day-of registration only. All Kids (Ages 12 & under) are encouraged to participate. They will need to register at least 1 hour prior to their race and all riders must have a helmet. Medals will be given out to all participants and t-shirts will be given to the first 50 who register. Great prizes will be given out as well.
